The Studio Kaiju performance group began as a student video project with its first live staged show in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 1990. Dubbed “Kaiju Big Battel” (not a typo) the brawl is put on by the group created by Rand and David Borden. The wrestlers wear various monster suits, each with its own unique character and duke it out in front of an equally fanatic crowd of spectators. It is undeniable that every fan loves the combination of something only describable as Godzilla meets the Mexican wrestler.
However, the action is not just limited to the ring as each character has their own history full of alliances and rivalries that clash in the ring. Making the perfect concoction of mayhem with over 100 characters, cast members, and monsters to keep the battle raging. Packed full of parodies, high-flying antics, and amazing set designs, Kaiju Big Battel is one of the most amazing things your retinas will every be exposed to.
