Is GoldenEye back? The N64 classic proved that the FPS can work on a console; a fact Halo, Call of Duty and the rest of the gang need to be thankful for. Now that the sequel is finally out, how does it measure up to the original title? Not bad I suppose, although it depends on what you’re looking for.

If it’s the original you’re after then it’s a sad day for you, but if you’re after a new kick-ass FPS title for your Wii, this game is a necessity. GoldenEye 007 has closer ties to the Modern Warfare franchise then it does to the original GoldenEye, including the health-system, online perks and overall feel of the game. But that’s a good thing, the N64 GoldenEye may be legendary, but it looks a little worn in it’s old age. The FPS genre has moved on and thankfully this sequel has followed suit. In terms of eye candy, it looks amazing, perhaps the best-looking FPS title on the Wii, a great Christmas gift for any wannabe secret agent.
